I feel a great emotion when interpreting my works. It is not certain that the facets of pianista and composer are broken ties. A composer, if it is also a good pianista, will write far better for piano. And doubt that does not fit, about the moment for conceiving the compositions, it will think about his interpretation. In addition, for a pianista that is also composer the inspiration of their works will be more likely fruit of the hours of practice of that instrument.
How many times I had to interrupt the study of the piano to write what it was being crossed to me by the mind then!. I have never been able to properly separate the composition this of the instrument for which it is devised. The instrument, the technique, their timbre, inspires the composition. Whichever examples offer the great teachers to us of the music of to have taken advantage of some technical resource an instrument like departure point the compositivo act!.
